It’s Time For The Holidays!

When the hustle and bustle of the holidays is in motion, it’s important to remember our residents and how this time of year can affect them. All joy and happiness. It’s time to refocus, relax the rules, and make everyone happy, although if we work in long-term care, that’s not as easy as it sounds.

This can be both a happy and depressing time for our residents. They are separated from their regular routine, and for many, this may be their first time away from home during the holidays. Staff may relax the rules and ignore certain procedures, but are they the correct procedures? Our residents look to you and your staff for guidance. Relaxing the wrong rules can create hidden dangers for both residents and staff.

This webinar will address the hidden dangers during the holiday season and the pitfalls that can put staff and residents at risk.
