This program will cover bioethics and palliative care, the importance of advance directives, discuss six critical ethical issues in palliative care nursing and identify the components of a family meeting.
In addition, we will review the purpose and interventions for a family meeting and the legal ramifications of advance care planning, lack of decisional capacity, and end-of-life care. This is of interest to all types of LTC communities.
