This program will deal with nurses’ daily frustration regarding accidents and incidents and what to report. The goal of this presentation will be for all staff to realize that everyone participates in the prevention and protection of residents. Not just nursing!
We will review what should be reported in a clear manner, the documentation that is necessary, and how to write the incident report.
Lastly, the focus will be on preventing and protecting our residents from falls, resident-to-resident incidents, and all other risk management issues.
