Lawsuits naming individual nurses and/or executive directors/administrators are rising.

The thought that most plaintiffs target the corporation or specific facility because they have the deepest pockets still exists, but the list of individual employee defendants is increasing.

Our presenter for this 2-part series is a CNO and a legal nurse consultant. She has seen these issues from both sides. The industry is seeing more Directors/Administrators and DONs/Wellness Directors named as defendants in cases, especially of negligence.
