This next webinar reviews common infections (bacterial or viral) in our Residents. This presentation will cover the signs and symptoms of these infections and how to recognize them early to prevent transmission and start appropriate care and treatment. We will cover most MDROs that infect residents and the isolation procedures to follow. These include but are not limited to C-Auri.
Objectives:
- Early recognition of onset infectious disease.
- Determining the most common symptoms.
- Identifying what to tell the NP/MD.
- Listing the most essential elements to document.
- Identifying who’s responsible for reviewing and understanding lab results.
