Although communication itself seems easy, sometimes when we try to communicate with others, there is a chance for misunderstanding, frustration, and conflict. When communication is effective, it leaves all persons involved satisfied, and feeling good and eliminates a variety of problems. Strong and effective communication fosters and develops relationships built on trust and understanding with our residents, families, our team, and everyone we deal with every day.
Improving our communication style allows us to express and transmit our ideas, information, thoughts, and feelings, and helps us to better understand what is being expressed by others.
This webinar will focus on Administrators, Nurses and Key Department heads and ways that we can work together to improve communication and work in a more cohesive, effective manner.
