What’s the difference in the care of the residents with seldom seen syndromes and diagnoses such as ALS, MS, MD, and others? What do you do when you’ve never cared for someone that has one of these syndromes?
ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) has gradual onset… MS (Multiple Sclerosis) symptoms are hard to predict and a person’s symptoms change over time and MD (Muscular Dystrophy) more prominent in children not the elderly.
